Jones Lang LaSalle Wins 625,000 SF Leasing Contract at AeroCentre, Mississauga

Firm to lease Mississauga’s premier office complex by Pearson International Airport


TORONTO, Jan. 9, 2012  —  Jones Lang LaSalle was today named exclusive leasing agent for AeroCentre, a 20-acre complex comprising six office buildings totalling approximately 625,000 square feet. The office park located at Explorer Drive in Mississauga is just off Highway 401 and minutes from Pearson International Airport.  It is home to blue chip corporations such as Nokia Siemens, Target Canada, Ricoh, Acer and PepsiCo.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Scott Watson and Michael Case, LEED AP will lead leasing efforts in conjunction with Menkes, as the property manager. HOOPP, Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan, owns the complex.

AeroCentre provides a daily shuttle bus service for its tenant’s employees between Kipling Subway Station and the complex as well as car parking facilities, a brand new first class fitness centre, conference facilities and a deli. The site has won various accolades for sustainability including the 2008-2011 BOMA Building Excellence award and 2010/2011 Ontario Waste Minimization Platinum award.  The LEED Gold AeroCentre V was also the winner of the 2010 NAIOP REX Award for Green Building of the Year.
