Current Responsibilities
Marco Marciante is a Project Manager in JLL's Project and Development Services group. Mr. Marciante is currently overseeing over $10M of infrastructure upgrade projects for Bank of America’s critical facilities campus in Ottawa. These are challenging projects because the scopes consist of adding electrical equipment, including new generators, as well as upgrading the HVAC systems of two existing buildings, all while the buildings are occupied. Mr. Marciante is also managing commercial tenant improvements in the Montreal area and is presently working on a 20,000 s.f. high end project for a financial corporation in the downtown core.
With six years in the construction management industry and seven years in the architectural field, Mr. Marciante has been able to develop a skill set that blankets a project from development through delivery. Mr. Marciante has assumed responsibilities as a team leader for multiple projects including tenant improvements, base building renovations as well as projects in the healthcare environment. Mr. Marciante has coordinated with clients, consultants, contractors and government departments and has an in-depth understanding of the design and construction processes. Other responsibilities have included financial feasibility studies as well as developing pivotal initial research such as zoning analysis.
Prior to joining JLL in 2004, Mr. Marciante worked for a prominent architectural firm based in Montréal and New York, where he was fully involved in project design and management.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Marciante received a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2002, a Bachelor’s degree of Architecture in 1996 and a Bachelor’s degree of Science in 1995 from McGill University in Montréal.
