Current Responsibilities
Curt Harrison is a Senior Vice President for Commissioning & Building at JLL Canada.

Curt brings with him over 25 years of leadership and experience on large-scale, complex projects across all disciplines.  Curt is primarily responsible for the division's operation management and delivery of services. Since graduating from the University of Waterloo in 1985, Curt has been the Mechanical and Electrical Engineer of Record on numerous industrial, institutional and commercial building designs. Curt has been working in various key capacities with the CBA team since 2001. 

Curt is a master electrician as well as Professional Engineer and has worked as a consultant with Orillia Power, and Parry Sound Power.  Projects included substation and transformer installations, verification of electrical coordination, and QA/QC programs.


Curt has been the project leader on the following AFP/IO Hospital Projects: St Michael's Hospital (SMH) acting as Owner's Commissioning Consultant.  Curt created the Schedule 14 Commissioning Deliverables, and created the Pre-Commissioning process for the RFP.  Curt assisted with the selection process for ProjectCo and  is the alternate lead for the commissioning execution activities.  Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), acting as Owner's Commissioning Consultant, in a role similar to SMH; ErinoakKids (EOK), acting as Owner's Commissioning Consultant, in a role similar to SMH; North Bay Hospital, acting for the Financing Partner. Curt provided risk assessment for the commissioning process and for critical systems in terms of output requirements as part of the Project Agreement; Sault St Marie Hospital - HFM was the commissioning agent at the Sault Area Hospital and Curt was the general manager for the commissioning team, coordinating activities and resources with the Project Manager and Systems Specialists; Woodstock Hospital - HFM was the commissioning agent for Woodstock General Hospital where Curt was the general manager for the commissioning team, and apart from his responsibilities for resourcing he was responsible for the LEED commissioning components. Curt has also been the Project Lead for Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care (WCMHC), and the New Oakville Hospital (NOH).  Curt has also been the Project Lead for the Waterloo Region Consolidated Courthouse (WRCC), Pan Am Games Athletes Village, and Pan Am Aquatics Centre, all of which are AFP/IO Projects.

Curt was the Project manager for Cadillac Fairview's Building Automation System upgrade for their downtown complex of 6 towers, 4.3 Million Sq. Ft. This upgrade was performed live and included new state of the art control software, hardware and state-of-the art technologies. It is the largest commercial control system in Canada.

Curt has been involved in existing buildings commissioning including Cadillac Fairview's Condition Assessment, and Archives of Ontario's Life Cycle Assessment for Capital Planning Purposes.

From 1985 until 1990 Curt worked as a process engineer in the chemical industry where his responsibilities included, marketing, liaising with clients, negotiating contracts, pricing and coordinating engineering activities for product development.

From 2003 to 2013 Curt was Chairman of the Board of Directors for Parry Sound Power Corporation (Wiresco). The Board is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the Corporation and ensuring good corporate governance practices.
