​Current Responsibilities

Tomas is a Commissioning Coordinator for the Commissioning & Building Analytics team. 

Tomas started with the team in March of 2013. Tom’s responsibilities include documentation review, report writing and on-site testing of mechanical equipment and systems. Tom focuses on commissioning and re-commissioning of existing buildings including various TD Centre “Back to Base’, ‘As Is’ and ‘Tenant Improvement’ projects. 

Experience

Prior to joining JLL, Tom worked in the Medical Device Industry in Galway, Ireland. Working primarily as an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer, Tom gained valuable experience in the Manufacturing business. His Environmental Engineering background complemented his Health and Safety awareness to ensure the health and well-being of employees. The central focus of Tom’s work was managing the activity and effects record sheet of the Register of Significant Environmental & Energy Aspects and Impacts throughout the site.  He also trained new employees on environmental awareness.  Tom gained this experience through his work at Medtronic Vascular in Galway, from January 2010 to September 2012.  As an EHS Engineer his main duties included surface water and ground water monitoring in accordance with Medtronic’s Integrated Pollution Prevention Control (IPPC) license, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, and maintaining and updating the Register of Environmental and Waste Regulations which were relevant to the operations and activities of Medtronic

For the final year of Tom’s college degree he gained valuable work experience in the Environmental Engineering Consulting sector with RPS Consulting Engineers, Galway. Tom worked for RPS from September 2008 to September 2009 as an Environmental Engineer.  His main duties included editing AutoCAD and MapInfo drawings for inclusion in various reports and trending proposals.  He also conducted a number of traffic surveys in various locations in West Ireland, generated Bill of Quantities for a number of projects, as well as conducted geological, hydrogeological, and hydrological assessments of land along preferred route options for proposed Highways in West Ireland.
