​​​Current Responsibilities
Margaret’s current responsibilities as Transaction Manager | Associate at JLL is to contribute to ongoing professional business development activities and to provide a professional level of real estate-based advisory and transactional services to clients.

Experience
While serving as a Canadian Business cultural advisor to a coal mining investment company during its start-up operations, Margaret became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company.  She then devoted several years to managing government relations with various responsible Ministries, as well as developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with BC Government executives and ministers.  She managed the screening, due diligence, and bidding processes of the potential acquisition of a large-scale B.C. coal mining project.  She also was appointed signee for the Milestone Phase of an acquisition project at the British Columbia – China: Corporate Partnerships Signing Ceremony hosted and witnessed by B.C. Premier Christy Clark.
 
Margaret has been involved in real estate sales, purchases and investment since 2009.  She has a comprehensive knowledge of both residential and commercial real estate, with particular expertise serving the Asian market interested in British Columbia real estate acquisitions.  Originally from Shanghai, China, Margaret came to Canada when she was 11 years old.  Her education and training include a degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and a concert pianist certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music.  She has a thorough knowledge of both Western and Asian cultures, and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
