Current Responsibilities

Frédéric Labrie, C.App., currently serves as Executive Vice President in the Advisory and Appraisal Services division in the JLL's Downtown Montréal office.  Mr. Labrie is renowned for real estate appraisals for various purposes with
in-depth knowledge of the commercial (retailers), office and residential markets. He also specializes in expert reports on International Financial Reporting Standards for large real estate portfolios (public entities, real estate investment trust and pension funds). Mr. Labrie is involved in important valuation and consultancy mandates (market studies, feasability studies, tax studies, due diligence reviews, real estate litigation, etc.) for major assets, especially in Québec.

Experience

Mr. Labrie began his real estate career in a Montréal real estate brokerage firm before joining the newly opened local branch of an international real estate services company as a financial analyst in 1996.

Thereafter, he served as an independent real estate consultant for major real estate firms (offering consulting, accounting, brokerage and pension fund services). In 2001, he joined a large real estate appraisal consultancy as a real estate consultant and actively participated in setting up the sales team. There, he also served as a senior consultant, team lead and manager.

In 2014, he joined Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton's real estate consulting division, which includes Desjarlais, Prévost et Associés Inc.
