Current responsibilities
In 2008, Fraser Plant was hired with the task of establishing a GTA industrial platform for JLL. Since that period the team has grown to fourteen agents and revenues have grown thirty fold. As Senior Vice President and Practice Leader, Mr. Plant heads up the Toronto Industrial Group with his collaborative management style and level of integrity, which is well acknowledged throughout the industry. These skills sets have allowed him to build and maintain key relationships with both users and investors of industrial real estate. Mr. Plant is a perennial top five national producer for JLL and was the top revenue producing broker in the country in 2012. He was one of three finalists for NAIOP’s prestigious Industrial Lease of the Year award in both 2010 and 2013. His team was awarded the NAIOP Industrial Development of the year in 2014. He was an SIOR finalist for Industrial Broker of the Year in 2012.

Mr. Plant has been working in the real estate industry, focusing on the industrial sector for the past sixteen years. During this time, he has played an integral role in land assemblies and sales, redevelopment opportunities, industrial leasing, lease audits and renewals, buyouts, asset dispositions, sale leasebacks, tenant representations, and design build projects. He has been responsible for either selling or leasing over 20 million square feet of industrial space. Since 2011 his transactions have a market value in exceedance of $450M. Some of the global corporations Fraser has worked on behalf of include: UPS, Astra Zeneca, adidas, GlaxoSmithKline, Iron Mountain, P&G, Henkel Corp, Magna, Labatt, Xerox Canada, Newell/Rubbermaid, and Siemens Canada. On the agency side the notable developers that have utilized his experience are: Morguard Investments, SunLife Financial, HOOPP, AMB, Verus Developments and Trammell Crow. Since joining Jones Lang LaSalle, he was instrumental in helping land the national business of Siemens, Henkel, Xerox and Iron Mountain. He is also the senior Canadian representative of the JLL Supply Chain and Logistics Solutions Team. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Plant worked with Cushman & Wakefield LePage, where his early success earned him the industrial “Rookie of the Year” award in 1998. This was followed by myriad annual recognitions for excellence on a national scale. His industrial team was considered one of the top agency leasing teams in the Greater Toronto Market and one of Cushman’s top teams nationally.

Mr. Plant holds a B.B.A. from Montreal’s Concordia University and is also an honors graduate of Canadian Securities Course.

Mr. Plant was a top ten national producer for JLL in 2010 and was also recognized as the top revenue generating industrial specialist in the country. He is one of three finalists for NAIOP’s prestigious Industrial Lease of the Year award for 2010.​
