Current Responsibilities
Erik Charton is the Senior Vice President within the Industrial Services Group of JLL in Montréal, and is also a member of JLL's Supply Chain and Logistics Solutions practice group. His primary role is to provide leadership, corporate development and support to his team.

Mr. Charton has over twenty-eight (28) years of commercial real estate experience. He has provided corporate real estate advisory services to over one thousand tenants, owners and investors throughout his career, in Montreal and Eastern Canada.  His strengths include creative strategy, negotiation, site selection/disposition work, sale-leasebacks and build-to-suits. He has a wide range of transaction activity both in industrial and office leasing. Over the past five years, Mr. Charton has leased, sold and developed more than 10,000,000 square feet of industrial and office real estate, valued at more than $110,000,000. 

In addition to twenty-five years in commercial brokerage, Mr. Charton spent three years working as Senior Vice-President of Construction and Development with one of Québec's largest commercial contractors. This experience has been invaluable in situations involving land development, building re-development and in design build projects.

Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Charton was Senior Vice President with DTZ Barnicke in Montreal.

Education, Affiliations and Community
Mr. Charton holds the esteemed SIOR professional designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, which is bestowed upon a small percentage of active commercial real estate brokers in Canada, the United States and abroad. Exceptional ethical standards, consistently high transaction volumes and recognized experience levels are prerequisites for admission to this professional organization. Mr. Charton not only holds this designation, but is a past President of its Eastern Canadian Chapter.

Mr. Charton is passionately committed to his role on the Board of Directors of the Starlight Children's Foundation (Québec) and that of The West Island Cancer Wellness Center. He served on the development committee of the Montréal Neurological Hospital for three years as well as the development committee of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Society of Québec.
