Q4 2012 Canadian Office Market Overview


On a global scale, 2012 turned out to be highly volatile because of uncertainties linked to the Euro Zone debt crisis, US fiscal cliff and a softening Chinese market. However, the Canadian economy remained strong and all major Canadian office markets maintained single digit vacancy levels. The overall national vacancy ended the year at 7.3 percent, up 10 basis points year-over-year.​
