Vancouver Office Insight - Q4 2013

The Downtown Core recorded negative absorption for the fifth consecutive quarter during Q4 2013.

A significant portion of the rise in vacancy has come from the Suburban market due to large tenant consolidation and downsizing relative to the Downtown Core or Broadway Corridor.

Despite the weak market activity at year-end, there are seven confirmed developments changing the downtown landscape and improving the amount of large block available space that the Downtown Core is currently lacking.
