Vancouver Office Insight - Q1 2016

With the most recent development cycle having peaked, the Downtown Core is now adjusting to the positive absorption that was fueled as a result of the approximately 1.8 million square feet of office space that was delivered in 2015. Of the six new buildings delivered to the Downtown Core, only 16.2 percent of the space remains without commitment, and the previous 11.5 percent vacancy rate for downtown inventory has decreased to 10.2 percent, with 330,529 square feet being absorbed this quarter alone.
