As we enter the second half of 2016, vacancy rates in the suburban GTA have continued to climb reaching 14.1 percent overall. While occupancy growth has been modestly strong recording 432,701 square feet of positive net absorption so far this year, the 940,852 square feet of new inventory added to the market has pushed vacancy to a cyclical high.
