In Q3 2016 vacancy has continued to steadily rise in all of the suburban submarkets, settling at 19.1 percent. The Beltline is still one of the most heavily effected areas of the market. As it stands the Beltline is riddled with large block sublease vacancies that total 468,306 square feet. The percent of sublease space in the Beltline has risen from 2.1 percent in Q1 2016 to 5.1 percent in Q3 2016. This has provided tenants with a great opportunity to move into high quality built-out product at very affordable rates.
