After two consecutive quarters in the red, national net absorption turned positive with 184,054 square feet in the third quarter. This is well below the five year quarterly average of 476,703 square feet, but still demonstrating positive momentum. As quarters past, the geographic variation in performance continues to be extreme with Calgary locking in a loss of more than 822,000 square feet in absorption. On the flip side, Greater Toronto locked in a healthy positive 509,000 square feet.
