The Beltline experienced marginal changes to vacancy rates and net rental rates, with vacancy rising to 19.9 percent and net rental rates declining to $15.80 per square foot. The City’s hardest-hit submarket remains the Macleod Trail Corridor, where vacancy currently sits above 35 percent. Despite 2016’s overall negative net absorption in Suburban Calgary, there was a notable amount of leasing activity through Q3 and Q4 2016.
