The City of Vancouver sees Coworking Space more than double in a year

  • ​​By the end of 2017 we will see Coworking Space in the City of Vancouver increase by 173 percent. The majority of this new Coworking Space is coming from two major transactions. First, from new to the market WeWork who leased 79,000 square feet in Bentall III located in Vancouver’s Downtown Core submarket. WeWork will become the largest Coworking Space provider in Metro Vancouver once in operation. Next, Regus brand Spaces will move into 35,000 square feet in the newly renovated Ormidale Block in Gastown.
  • Coworking providers, such as WeWork and Regus, are attracted to Vancouver because of a strong economy, growing Tech sector and strong startup ecosystem.​
