Lou Zoldan is a Vice President with JLL Canada, Project & Development Services.
Lou has over 30 years’ experience in the management of complex infrastructure projects in the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors. These projects have ranged on value from $30 to $850 million and include education, healthcare, and sports and entertainment venues in Canada and the United States.Lou is proven leader with experienced in all facets of project management including stakeholder engagement, design management, permitting and approvals, procurement, construction management, project controls, reporting, commissioning, occupancy and move planning, and FF&E.He is intimately familiar with aspects of sustainable design and has managed several projects that have achieved LEED® certification.
Lou is a member of the Project Management Institute and a certified Project Management Professional.
ExperienceNorthern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), Edmonton, Alberta*
Projects Included:Business Tower and Engineering Annex Renovations, Edmonton, AlbertaProject Director, provided leadership to the project managers assigned to complete renovations on two existing buildings on NAIT campus valued at $30M. Focus was on assessment and risk analysis of demolition and asbestos abatement work, implementation of the construction procurement contracts, overall planning of FF&E scope and occupant transition and move-in planning.
Centre for Applied Technology, Edmonton, AlbertaProject Director and Owner’s representative, managed a team to deliver a new $294M facility accommodating 500 staff and up to 5000 students. The facility supports multiple programs and supporting services including teaching spaces, simulation labs, classrooms, food services spaces, staff office spaces, parking administration and a student service centre. Project activities and responsibilities also included stakeholder management, fixtures, furniture and equipment (FF&E) program development and implementation and staff transition/move-in.
