Claudia Verno

National Director, Research

Claudia is responsible for leading the research team and developing strategies that leverage data, thought leadership, and technologies that will help inform our clients’ real estate strategies and drive value to their businesses.

Claudia has been working as a professional economist for over 17 years. She has experience in a variety of areas, including policy analysis, country risk assessment, macroeconomic forecasting, trade, government and finance. Claudia has extensive research experience, and enjoys current analysis as well as developing tools and executing empirical work.

Prior to joining JLL, Claudia led the Natural Catastrophe and Climate Change team at a trade association representing home, auto, and business insurance companies in Canada. She managed an economics team and monitored all G7 economies and some of the largest emerging markets.

Claudia earned a Master’s degree in Economics from McGill University and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economics from Aix-Marseille University.

In her spare time, Claudia enjoys spending time with her family, reading, kayaking, and traveling.
