Paul Greven

Chief Counsel, JLL Canada

Paul is responsible for all legal, compliance and risk matters across Canada. He is also an active member of the firm’s executive management and charity committees, bringing a legal perspective to the development and execution of JLL Canada’s corporate strategy.

With over 18 years of experience, Paul’s principal areas of practice include corporate and commercial law, hotels, mixed use real estate development, commercial leasing and mergers & acquisitions. He also has considerable experience advising on employment/HR, procurement (RFPs), IP and corporate social responsibility matters.

Before joining JLL in 2012, Paul previously practiced law for leading companies and law firms based in the Middle East, Cayman Islands and Toronto where his practice primarily focused on commercial real estate transactions.

In the past few years, Paul has dedicated considerable time spearheading various United Nations initiatives though various public speaking and publication projects.

Paul earned an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Asian History and Political Science from York University, an LLB from Queen’s University and the ICD.D designation from University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys traveling, skiing and spending time with his family.
