JLL earns 2021 ENERGY STAR® Sustained Excellence Award
JLL recognized for 10th consecutive year
CHICAGO, Apr. 13, 2021 – JLL (NYSE: JLL) has received the 2021 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy for continued leadership and superior contributions to ENERGY STAR. This is the 13th year that JLL has been named an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year and the 10th year winning the Sustained Excellence Award.

In September 2020, JLL committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions across all JLL-occupied buildings by 2030, which includes: 460 buildings; 474,967 square meters total floor area; 27,761 tCO2e portfolio carbon emissions; and 91,000 employees. Last year, the firm achieved 240 sustainable building certifications for clients and averted 112,674 metric tons of CO2e by advising clients on renewable energy.
The Sustained Excellence award is the highest honor bestowed by the ENERGY STAR program. Winners are part of a distinguished group that has made a long-term commitment to fighting climate change and protecting public health through energy efficiency. They are among the nation’s leaders in driving value for the environment, the economy and the American people.
