The award celebrates Indigenous students in commercial real estate who are pursuing a career in the industry.
TORONTO, June 21, 2024 – JLL is proud to announce its continued partnership with the UBC Sauder School of Business for the third consecutive year to encourage and empower Indigenous students who aspire to pursue a career in the commercial real estate industry.
The award serves to eliminate financial obstacles for students, creating new avenues of opportunity and promoting greater diversity within the industry. Recipients are chosen by UBC based on their strong academic performance, exceptional leadership qualities, and active engagement within their communities.

“Receiving this scholarship enabled me to put my best foot forward and prioritize academics by alleviating much of the financial stress associated with affording tuition and living expenses. Thanks to the JLL Award, I was able to forego a part-time job and instead allocate my time towards extracurricular activities such as the Portfolio Management Foundation which have significantly enhanced my learning experience at the UBC Sauder School of Business.”
