With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Alison has a proven track record of providing exceptional services to leading Canadian real estate entities, including pension funds, REITs, corporations, institutions, and family offices. Throughout her career, Alison has been involved in over $5 billion in financings.
Alison's expertise spans various areas of real estate finance, including mortgage brokerage, loan underwriting, sales and loan syndication, structured finance such as CMBS and private mortgage bonds, credit and risk management, and real estate appraisal. This breadth of knowledge has cultivated deep connections within the industry and a unique understanding of different stakeholders' perspectives. Alison utilizes these insights to negotiate optimal financing solutions for JLL's clients. She is also a licensed professional for green and sustainable financing and serves as a CMHC correspondent for several Canadian financial institutions.
Alison consistently goes the extra mile for her clients, offering creative solutions and communicating lending opportunities with enthusiasm and credibility. Her distinguished career includes senior positions at renowned major financial institutions, notably holding the position of Chief Risk Officer at a pension fund.
Alison holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Portsmouth, UK. She is the firm's principal broker representing mortgage activities in Québec, a licensed mortgage broker in Ontario, and a Quebec chartered appraiser. In addition to her professional achievements, Alison is actively involved in the community. She currently sits on the Board of the non-profit organization ‘Mothers with Power', serves on the Disciplinary Counsel of the Québec Order of Appraisers, and is a past president of Montreal CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women).
