Chris J. Newton is a Vice President in the Commercial Sales and Leasing division of the Jones Lange LaSalle Vancouver office, joining the firm in 2021 after 16 successful and award-winning years at another national real estate brokerage firm. Chris handles real estate assignments for his clients in all areas of Metro Vancouver, as well as the Victoria and Interior secondary markets, but his focus and recognized leading market expertise is in Vancouver’s Broadway Corridor and Vancouver Periphery Markets, primarily Broadway, the False Creek Flats and Mount Pleasant subareas.
As an area expert, Chris handles all asset types, both for sales and leasing, along with project pre-sales/pre-leasing, and residential and commercial land, investment sales, and office and creative industrial leasing transactions for both landlords and tenants – which has earned him an encyclopedic knowledge of these markets and a reputation for deep and real time street level market information for his clients’ benefit. Chris has represented landlords, tenants, vendors and purchasers in a cross section of Vancouver’s land and asset ownership and development community, including many high-profile and/or high net worth family offices, numerous non-profit organizations, and recognized development and investment companies.
