Current Responsibilities

Gavin is an Executive Vice President and a founding partner of the JLL Vancouver office. Gavin possesses a tremendous understanding of the financial, operational and strategic factors that impact companies as they make their real estate decisions. That, along with his strong negotiation and communication skills, has resulted in exceptional added value and insight to his clients. He is known to be a creative thinker with exceptional market knowledge who has achieved outstanding results for his clients in the most difficult market conditions. His core expertise is on Downtown Vancouver office properties with a focus on new construction opportunities . Gavin has a reputation as one of Vancouver’s leading brokers with a long track record of client advocacy and exceptional performance for JLL’s clients. He is frequently invited to be a guest speaker at Real Estate industry events in British Columbia.

Experience

Prior to joining JLL, Gavin was in the Corporate Representation Group of Colliers International Office Division. Gavin has over nineteen years of experience in the real estate industry and over the years has worked with an impressive roster of tenants including some of Vancouver’s largest legal, technology, engineering, accounting and financial services firms.

Education and Affiliations

Gavin received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia in 1990 and is an alumnus of St. George’s School. He is a past member of the Board of The Georgians,  the Alumni Board of St, George’s. He is also a member of the Urban Development Institute (UDI) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
