Jeremy Ip is an Associate Director with the Value and Risk Advisory Group at JLL, where he is responsible for the valuation of a variety of asset classes and specializing in office, industrial, and retail.
Prior to joining JLL, Jeremy had previous roles in both appraisals and asset management in the commercial real estate industry, bringing with him a unique perspective and experience that allows him to understand and serve clients on a comprehensive level.
During Jeremy’s time working in appraisals, he has completed single-asset and portfolio valuations across Canada. Working with clients ranging from Pension Funds, REITs, and private investors, Jeremy has completed appraisals for uses such as IFRS requirements, acquisition due diligence, financing, and insurance purposes.
In his previous asset manager role, Jeremy was involved in the full asset life cycle including due diligence and acquisition, annual budget forecasts, capital planning, leasing, and disposition. Jeremy oversaw a portfolio consisting of a large regional shopping centre, office towers ranging from “AAA” to “B”, multi-family complexes, development land, and various industrial assets.
Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Business degree from the Goodman School of Business, where he graduated with Honours.
In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys staying active playing tennis, boxing & Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and biking.
