Matthew has led JLL’s Capital Markets business across EMEA since 2017 and in 2025 he was also appointed UK CEO.
In this dual capacity, Matthew oversees the strategic direction of JLL’s Capital Markets operations throughout the EMEA region while simultaneously leading the company’s second largest market as UK CEO.
Matthew has extensive industry experience, coupled with global, regional, and institutional knowledge. Having joined JLL as a graduate in 1998, Matthew has worked across multiple business segments with a variety of clients spanning a range of sectors. In the early part of his career, he undertook client secondments, which he credits as defining experiences that taught him the value, and skill, of building trusted relationships. Prior to his Capital Markets leadership role in 2017, he was Head of International
Capital Coverage for Europe which involved bringing international investors to the UK.
As UK CEO, Matthew’s focus is on elevating JLL’s service across the UK by bringing the best of JLL to clients and colleagues. He will continue to invest in innovative technology and sustainable solutions to position JLL as a strategic partner to meet clients’ evolving real estate needs.
Away from work, Matthew shares his passion for music, engines and all things outdoors - preferably at high altitude - with his wife and two children (and dog!).
