Ron is an Associate Vice President in Calgary at JLL, responsible for growing the company’s retail agency business in the greater Calgary market.
Ron’s career in real estate spans more than 20 years in capacities as a retailer, developer, and agent. He joined JLL in 2021, after seven years at Canadian Tire Corporation, where he was accountable for growing their various store banners’ presence across western Canada by securing and developing real estate opportunities. Prior to Canadian Tire, Ron held positions of increasing responsibility at landlord firms overseeing retail leasing and redevelopment programs for commercial properties across Alberta.
Based in Calgary, Ron provides his landlord and tenant clients with a diverse skill set, including his knowledge in lease negotiation, retail market analysis, and long-term strategic planning from both a property owner and property user perspective.
Ron earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, where he was also a member of the varsity wrestling team, winning a Canada West title in his senior year.
In his spare time, Ron enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.
