Russell Godwin is a Senior Vice President – Retail in Canada at JLL, where he is responsible for his agency and tenant mandate listing’s throughout the Province of Ontario and collaboration with other JLL services.
Russell’s career in real estate spans more than 29 years. He joined JLL as a Senior Vice President – Retail in August of 2018 with their acquisition of Northwest Atlantic Canada Inc. Brokerage [NWA]. As a principal of NWA he was active in securing retail tenant mandates, landlord listings, the acquisition and disposition of various land/investment properties for redevelopment, inclusive of management duties.
Based in Toronto, Russell supports his JLL practice team with; (i) mandate and agency transactions; and (ii) the acquisition and disposition of various land/investment properties for redevelopment, predominately outside of Toronto from Thunder Bay to Niagara Falls and from Windsor to Cornwall.
Russell attended the University of Western Ontario working towards a BA degree in Psychology [Neural Physiology with minors in Science] where he was active on the varsity football and track & field teams. Upon graduating Russell embarked on a career in transportation and logistics supported with a Logistics Analysis certificate from the Centre for Transportation Studies – Sloan School of Management, MIT.
In his spare time Russell enjoys spending time with his family travelling and golfing globally.
