2020 Forecast Series: Balancing school and office, Part 2
The important ways companies can help their employees juggle the demands of work and their child’s education during COVID-19
Imagine trying to balance a Microsoft Teams meeting with your colleagues while at the same time trying to help your third-grade daughter with her math. Or making sure your sixth-grade son logs in to his classes, eats his lunch and completes his work while you’re commuting to and from the office. Or putting your Kindergartner on a bus, hoping they don’t come home with COVID-19.

In our latest JLL report, Back to school, back to work? Part 2, we provide ideas for employers as they navigate the next phase of their return-to-work strategy. We identify the ways they can help their employees juggle the demands of work and home school. We also recommend strategies companies can deploy to assist those employees who find themselves in particularly vulnerable situations—everything from food insecurity to an inability to access technology.
