MONTRÉAL, May 11, 2018 – JLL Canada is pleased to announce that its Tenant Representation Group in Montréal has advised and represented ENGIE Services in the relocation of its head office to a larger space that will allow the company to accommodate its expanding footprint and growing team in North America.

ENGIE Services, a leader in the energy industry, currently occupies 18,000 square feet (s.f.) on two non-contiguous floors at 550 Sherbrooke Street West. The headquarters will be relocating in July 2018 to a 35,000 s.f. facility spanning two and a half floors at 1001 de Maisonneuve West, a Class A office building sitting on top of the Peel metro station in Montréal's downtown core.

Bernard Lawrence, Executive Vice President of JLL's Montreal Tenant Representation Group led the team on this transaction.

"The attributes of office space including natural light, thermal controls, air quality, layout/design and location are key factors for organizations due to their combined ability to impact talent attraction and retention but also increase productivity. That's something the ENGIE Services team was well aware of and addressed with the decision to move to a different location," said Bernard Lawrence. "I am thrilled that our team was given the opportunity to support ENGIE Services at this crucial stage of the company's development in North America. I am also very proud that this great space, which addresses these key elements, was secured with excellent business terms."
