QUEBEC, August 30, 2022—JLL Canada announced today that it passed the $500,000 milestone in support of Breakfast Club of Canada and further extended their relationship for another five years, supporting the Club’s mission to give children access to a nutritious breakfast before school, in an environment that nurtures their self-esteem and confidence.

During its last Feeding Children’s Potential campaign in 2021, JLL raised $54,000, thus bringing to $554,000 the amount raised since 2015 through generous personal donations, virtual events and corporate contributions.

Already engaged with its clients and communities this year, JLL Canada raised over $20,000 in Calgary during a basketball tournament and participated in the 24th Annual Golf Classic in Montreal, where a total of $190,270 was raised. JLL looks forward to its Fall campaign where offices across Canada come together to raise funds for the cause.

“At JLL, we like to say that we are fueled by challenges, but to nurture ambitions it takes a full stomach every morning” said Alan MacKenzie, CEO of JLL Canada.

“I am proud that our teams across the country continue to unite every year to support Breakfast Club of Canada and provide children with the tools necessary to succeed, starting with a healthy breakfast,” said Vanessa Lester, Head of Marketing, Canada Markets at JLL Canada.

Founded in 1994, Breakfast Club of Canada has been nourishing children’s potential by making sure as many of them as possible have access to a healthy morning meal before school, in an environment that nurtures their self-esteem and confidence. In addition to breakfast programs, the organization promotes the core values of engagement, enrichment and empowerment, and is adapted to the specific needs of each community. Operating from coast to coast, Breakfast Club of Canada helps reach more than 580,000 students every day in over 3,500 programs.

“Unprecedented challenges call for equally outstanding efforts. We are proud to work with JLL who have shown incredible support and willingness to go the extra mile to help children across the country. We are pleased to extend a partnership that has flourished over the past few years,” said Tommy Kulczyk, President and CEO, Breakfast Club of Canada.
