Michael Seetner is a Vice President in the Toronto office of Jones Lang LaSalle Canada.
Current Responsibilities
Michael specializes in bringing technology to the brokerage process to evaluate the overarching impact of real estate on both employees and corporate profitability. His team accomplishes this by focusing on space efficiency, workplace strategy and creating a positive human capital impact.
Michael takes an analytical approach to negotiate business terms with landlords and maximize client leverage to obtain favourable results. He brings a finance background to the role which allows Michael to run complex leasing scenarios for tenants using relocation, consolidation, sublease and termination financial models.
Michael’s key responsibilities include managing client relationships and implementing the creative brokerage solution to meet his client’s unique needs. He also provides deep market knowledge of the Toronto office market, including availability information and tenant movements.
Experience
Six years in the commercial real estate industries working in research and brokerage capacities. Previously worked in the Corporate Banking division of a large Canadian financial institution, providing financing solutions to large corporate clients across various sectors.
