Klaus Koponen is CEO of JLL Finland and Head of Markets. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic direction, business operations and market growth.
Klaus drives business performance, enhances service offerings and strengthens JLL’s leadership position in the Finnish real estate sector. With a focus on team development, strategy and innovation and client success, he is committed to delivering high-quality, results-driven real estate solutions.
Klaus joined JLL Finland in 2020 as Head of Corporate Solutions, where he led corporate real estate strategies and helped clients optimize their portfolios. His leadership and strategic acumen led to his promotion to Head of Markets in 2022, where he took on responsibility for commercial leasing, asset management and corporate real estate advisory. Klaus was appointed CEO of JLL Finland in 2024, while retaining his Head of Markets role, further reinforcing his leadership within the organization.
With extensive experience in business development, operational execution and strategic planning, Klaus has a proven track record of growing businesses, driving performance and leading high-performing teams. His expertise covers corporate real estate (CRE), commercial leasing, asset management and flexible office solutions.
Before joining JLL, Klaus held key leadership roles at IWG. He served as regional general manager/country manager for Finland, Poland and the Baltics, leading market expansion and operational success. From 2013 to 2017, he was country manager for Finland, where he gained in-depth experience in managing diverse real estate markets and driving business growth.
Klaus holds a Master of Law (OTM, VT) and is a recognized real estate leader. His strategic vision and operational expertise position JLL Finland for continued success in an evolving market landscape.
